Welcome to our Gaggle

After much deliberation, I've decided a hobby is in order.  Since the age of 16, I've had a job. I've done everything from babysitting to serving/bartending to working in the Human Resource field.  Until...(dun-tun-dun) KIDS!

Of course, minus the day I married Daddy Goose, the happiest two days of my life have been when I first laid eyes on Brother Goose (4) and Baby Goose (>1 year).  They are the most amazing children I've ever had the privilege of knowing.  They make me smile in my darkest of hours and make me cry  (for all sorts of reasons) when I least expect it.  I know every momma and daddy says this about their little ones, but really, they are our everything!  Which is why, Daddy Goose and I decided that the most important job for me to have is the one of a stay at home momma.  It was a no-brainer.  WE wanted to raise our goslings.  WE wanted to instill OUR values. WE did NOT want another "momma" or "daddy" teaching them something that did not reflect how WE felt.  Blah, blah, blah...you know all the other reasons why people choose to have a stay at home parent.  In this day and age, we are very blessed that we are able to make this a reality.

However, I am a worker.  There are always dishes to be done, laundry and there is always, always, always something to be picked up off the floor.  But, I deserve more than that.  I deserve something that I can look forward to after my goslings are done cuddling, something productive to do while Daddy Goose put his feet up after a long, hard day, and something I can feel proud of above and beyond my inside-the-home job.  And thus, a momma's diary of a crazy, amazing life is born!

I'm excited to share and learn through this experience.  I hope you are too!
